In recent years, computational mechanics have been playing an increasingly important role in the design and testing of complex mechanical structures, in the engineering of the behavior of mechanical systems and in the analysis of multiphysics phenomena.
In the designing phase, the simulations allow the optimization of sizing of the mechanical components, the testing of connections and kinematics of complex structures, the selection of appropriate materials, and the performance of multiple virtual tests. This contributes to a decrease in a product’s/solution’s time-to-market, which is a basic requirement in today’s global market.
Using cutting-edge computational mechanics techniques, TSL performs activities in the field of dynamic numerical modelling, especially in the transportation infrastructure sector.
